There was an article in Tennis Magazine that addressed this. If I remember correctly, the trend for modified from stock rackets was much more prevalent among male pros. Female pros often played with stock frames.

For all the others: Please excuse that I´m talking German to GTI but he´s a damn annoying person who´s only criticizing others.....
And yes I think most of the Top 20s are playing with paintjobs, but down from there you´ll definitely see less paintjobs.

I thought this was an English message board?

Anyway, didn't you guys know that 100% of the pros use a PS 6.0 85, just with various Wilson, Head, Prince, Babolat, Dunlop, Yonex, etc. paintjobs? ;)

Breakpoint is incorrect. Many pros use the "classic" brand of their racquet brand. Safin does play with Head Prestige Classic and Hewitt plays with the Yonex RDX Classic(I am not sure about the name).

  19. All pros play with paintjobs. Otherwise, bare graphite would get worn from the elements.

I thought it was obvious I was JOKING, but apparantly not obvious enough. :?

Yes, Safin uses a Prestige Classic with a LM Prestige paintjob, and Hewitt uses a Super RD Tour 90 with a RDX 500 Mid paintjob.
