I'm a 3.5-4.0 on the way up, looking to get a new racket after having some arm problems with the Pure Drive + (non cortex). I'm a baseliner who more and more comes to the net to finish points. I tend to lean on my serve.
So far, the rackets I am thinking of demoing are the Pure Drive cortex, Head Microgel Extreme and possibly Yonex RDS 002, but any other recommendations would be welcome. On a side note, which is more comfortable out of the Pure Drive and Pure Drive Roddick?

P.S: Here's the link for racket available to demo:http://topspintennis.co.uk/demo_rackets.htm

A buddy of mine has me string his PD Roddicks with nat'l gut - he tried some poly and blew up his elbow, but now he's happy with the different ropes.

A couple of terrific all court frames are the Yonex RDS 002 Tour and the Prince Hybrid Tour. Bonus points for that Prince - it's been marked down to maybe $90! Oh... I found your list and didn't see those two in there. Some decent frames that are available there are the k six-one 95, and maybe the Volkl DNX 10 and DNX 9. If you like to move forward a lot, I'd say try the heftier options before the lighter ones, including the PD Roddick if you can find one.

yeah, i'm kind of wary of prince rackets as for whatever reason I can't stand the grips - i think because the base isn't really flared, and because I hold the racquet quite low down, it doesn't feel secure.

Satch - wouldn't the K 6.1s be a bit on the advanced side?

Aerogel 500 has a very nice feel.
Prince Speedport Black is a great frame with a huge sweetspot.

If he doesn't have a problem with the weight of the AG200 with his arm, then that would be my #1 recommendation.

OK, so far its between Pure Drive, Extreme and AG500 Tour. I know I can't demo either of these, but does anyone have any raves about either TFight 320 or TFlash 310?
