    Hi guys,

After extensive research,i've narrowed down my selection of shoes to three.

    I'm a tall guy(6'4")185 lbs with a narrow foot,medium/high arch.

I'm after a lightweight shoe offering support, cushioning, comfort and durability.

Can anybody who has used or is currently using any of the following offer any advice and also, which shoe stands out the most from the others?

    Nike Lunarlite Vapor Tour

    adidas Barricade V

    Asics Gel Resolution 2

    Thanks in advance!

I have tried the Asic Gel Resolution 2 and while it is one of the most comfortable and lightweight shoes, it did not work for me.

I have high arch and it gave me arch problems. I replaced the manufacturer's insole with either the Superfeet green or SOF support insole and both helped somewhat but my arch would still be sore and slight pain.

I am currently wearing the Vapor Tour VI with the SOF insole and my feet are quite happy. The one downside of this shoe is the toe box is quite narrow and takes forever to break in the shoe, way too stiff when you first wear them. And since they replace this with the Lunarlite version, I am wondering how that compares to the Breathe 2k10 and CB 2.3 as well.

dude im 6'8 195 medium arch and i have the nike courtballistec 2.3. they are the best. i also wear the 1.3s which are really comfy. the genius 1s which are too hurtful to my feet and barricade 5s which are good so i guess you could do those but you should reeeeeaaaalllyy try the 2.3s

Thanks Roger BUT THE 2.3's appear to be too heavy(16.9 once)...I find it hard enough getting around the court as it is.

The Asics and Vapour Tour appear lighter.

Resolution 2 are very comfortable and light feeling, but the high arch AND the durability is an issue...

    Narrow feet
    - High arch - Durability concern =

IMO you should try the Barricades II (I think V are for wider feet...)
Just so you feel more confident with what I suggest, I should tell you that I 've tried both the barricades II and the Resolutions.

The Barricades II (as well as the Genius line) have pronounced arch support and are definitely better suited for people with narrow feet.

    Like you. And me :)

My next shoes will be Nike Cage II. They might interest you too.

The 2.3s arent as heavy as you would think. They are farily lighter than the 1.3s

Another Courtbalistic vote here. I hate the vapors, they're horrible uncomfortable in my experience.

I'm going to be one of these guys who chirps in every thread how good CBs are. I wanted to like Vapors. They are so sexy. Ballistecs seemed like tanks to me. Ballistec eventually fit like a glove and can take a pounding like no other. I have a medium to high arch. Vapors just make my feet ache, even separate from the stiffness and blisters the forefoot causes.

I've heard that the Lunarlite Vapors were pretty damn wide.. But maybe you should try to find the last year's model (Vapor VI) somewhere. Maybe even Vapor V. Cage II's are great but not that lightweight...

CC Genius II... If you have narrow feet and high arches, look no further. Just awesome shoes. Best shoes I've ever worn.

I love the Barricades, but I haven't tried the others.
