My early pick is the Cowboys and the Patriots. Both teams have been money all month long...winning and covering the spread.

I'd pick Pats., New Orleans (even though they're 0-2).

The Pats look unfriggingbelievable right now. Brady's averaging a 141.8 rating and already has 10 touchdowns. That's just sick.

Green Bay looks a little too good to be true. Cowboys looks like the best NFC team right now, but remember that they usually flame out every year. When the Bears bench Grossman, then we'll know how good that team is, injuries and all.

Agree with tricky. The Pats look unreal.

As for the Boys, I think they are the best team in the NFC, but their 3 wins have come off of teams with a combined 2-7 record. Let's see how they do when they start playing teams with winning records.

Any team with "England" in their name is ok by me!

Maybe Tampa Bay.. not sure how likely that is though.. maybe a dark horse pick? I could be way off.

Who cares? The better question is: "What two teams are the best?" or "What two AFC teams will be in the conference finals?"

Both the Colts and Pats could be undefeated going into their showdown in week 9. You have to think that whoever wins that is going to come out the AFC representatives.

But, yeah, the Steelers look like the real deal too. And I'm not sure what's going on with LT.

Well, considering that the Steelers, Patriots, Colts and probably another couple of AFC teams would beat "the Boys" in the Super Bowl, I wouldn't be placing that bet, LOL.

The real Super Bowl will be the AFC Championship game as usual. The Cowboy fans continue to live in a fantasy world that their team really matters.

"As usual" in recent years, you're right ... but the pendulum always swings. I remember when it was Green Bay, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington, and the Giants playing for the championship, and the AFC team was the patsy. Thirteen straight Super Bowls for the NFC, if I recall correctly.

Now it's 8 out of 10 for the AFC ... and the NFC stinks.

Sort of odd because the division between the conferences is basically only on paper ... nothing like the differences in baseball leagues.

I think last year's SB, between the Stealers (spelled "incorrectly" on purpose) and the Seahawks was better than the AFC championship game. And if it weren't for a LOT of help from the officials, the Stealers would NOT have won that SB! The SB between the Panthers and Patriots was a good one too. At least, they weren't absolute blow-outs like they were when the NFC was dominating the SBs.
