Which will happen first, Djokovic's Career Slam or Nadal's double Career Slam?

I've given up on either. Both will make me very happy.
A perfect 2015 for me would be Nadal winning AO to pass Sampras and get double career slam. Then Djokovic FINALLY gets a French and defends Wimbledon. US Open can go to Ferrer, since I feel sorry for the poor guy. 2016 Federer wins the Olympics and Wimbledon, Nadal gets La Decima and Djokovic sweeps the hard courts.
Final tally would be Federer 18, Nadal 16, Djokovic 11, which is fair. Everyone ends up happy that way. Particularly Djokovic, but that's cause I'm biased.

Why is it perfect? I disagree. There is nothing perfect about Nadal winning two more slams including AO :shock: That would be terrible IMO. He already won way too many and more than he should have.
It is Novak's time to dominate and win slams now.
Much better distribution is 17, 14 and 12 (or even 14 - why not).

I don't care what nadal wins. I just want djokovic to win RG for once and finish with atleast 11 slams. Then I would classify him as the third greatest of all time, since he had to deal with the 2 greatest players of all time and still win 11 slams. Im not obsessed with nole trying to catch nadal but I know it is not going to happen.

I'm surprised you dislike Nadal as much as you do. Djokovic and Nadal play similar styles (Djokovic is a bit more balanced and consistent though) and get criticised on some of same points. They've also had a very healthy rivalry, one that even favours Djokovic, post 2011.
In the end, while I prefer Nole as a person and a player, both can produce entertaining tactical tennis and benefit the game as a whole.
Regarding my perfect 2015 and 2016, I just feel Nadal has had such terrible luck at the AO he deserves another one. Not to mention 10 (10!) Frenches and double career slam are incredible achievements. I hold the view records should be broken, particularly by players that are good for the game.

Don't give up hope yet. Novak's a physical monster; people don't give him enough credit for it. He spends his whole time on the court sliding bending and generally looking like jelly, but when he does get injured it's in his wrist. Novak will be playing for a very long time.
With Murray's health questionable and never really a threat, Nadal already slowing and Federer also not really challenging, who else will dominate the future years? After all, it'd be a shame to let all those spare slams go to waste, right?

Im glad you are so positive. But he hasn't proven himself to dominate slams outside of 2011 yet. so I gave up hope for him to watch up nadal long ago.

They're the best baseliners in the game. Nadal might be able to be outrallied now, but when he was faster he was second only to Novak. Excellent court control, slowly suffocating the opponent. Both get a fair amount of spin off both wings. One side is a 'damage shot' they can hit anywhere, but one that can be exploited (1hbhers slicing to Nole's backhand, Novak and Ninja hitting deep and hard to Nadal's forehand). The other is a shield, able to redirect and return any ball from attacking players.
The main difference is that Nadal is best on clay, largely due to spin and growing up on the surface. Novak is better on hard thanks to superior depth. But it's still quite a bit of similarity in a tour with a lot of hard hitters.

Novak is offensive minded aggressive baseliner, with some elements of all court game who also plays excellent defense, while Nadal is defensive minded counter puncher who is very good of turning defense into offense. Not a similar styles at all.

Fair enough, but Novak's offense is heavily grounded in his movement. He's able to cut off angles and slide down any aggressive shot and return a strong, aggressive rally ball of his own. In a way, his offense is grounded in a flawless defense; without it, he'd be another aggressive, solid all-round baseliner, if an unusually precise one.
Also, Nadal's been trying to play aggressively, although he honestly doesn't really have the game for it. He's become more of a shotmaker and relies less on the defense. I think that when he's on form, he has elements of Djokovic's suffocating style in his game.
I see what you mean, and Nadal can be frustratingly defensive if he's not playing well. But there are similarities in the game styles, if not the execution.

I'll take the complement though. I think Nole fans are the least territorial and friendliest fans. Other than the Murray fans, I suppose, both of whom are great people. I suspect it's because we're fewer in number and of course are united by our fantastic taste.

Well you certainly can't blame the posters who thought double cgs would happen, Rafa somehow suddenly fell from the cliff, I always thought that he will win at least one more, but look like more or less he is done.
