    I'm not sure where you got these notes, or what basis you want them rated on, but if you're a student and you want to send this note I'd certainly steer clear of number 4 since it appears to be from a faculty member, not from a student.

    I think that most TAs would be happy to receive any expression of thanks and would not worry very much about the way it was worded.

    Just shoot an e-mail stating that a C would get you kicked out of business school and hence he/she *has* to give you a B.

    I have received several such e-mails.

    I preferred the wording of and voted for #1, but number 3 was also freaking hilarious. I also agree with Avles, number 4 is the worst option IMO.
