VCore Tour 97 310/325? or a PJ of something else?
Is it close to retail spec?
Strings look like Yonex Poly Tour Spin.
I'd like to know what version too, i'd bet some money in the lighter 97t.
Poly Tour Spin.
Doesn't last very long but a nice string and very grabby.
There was something else in the crosses, I'd imagine it's gut au natural.
Yeah, she crosses PTS with natural gut. She did the same during her Luxilon days.
Yonex Poly Tour Spin mains and Wilson Natural 17. Tension is around mid-20 kilos and gut is pre-stretched.
My mole at Winbledon tells me she is using a retail Vcore Tour 97, not sure if 310g or 330g. And she is using Yonex Super 850 Pro mains and Poly Tour Spin crosses
PTS doesn't last very long? You must be joking.
850 is one of the best multi filaments out there. Does not get much recognition.
Then your mole is wrong, certainly about the strings. She uses natural gut not super 850, with manual pre-stretch. Its also in the crosses, with PTS in the mains
She's using the Yonex Tear Drop, and the strings are Yonex Natural Tear.
Your mole is exposed as a double agent and needs to be eliminated asap
From the pictures, I think it really is the Vcore Tour 97. But it is probably customized, as Lisicki is one of the few that is/was doing it on the women's tour.
I get this from this article : http://pmbq.com.users.rydia.net/sportz/?p=160
The article is from 2009, so maybe she doesn't customize anymore, but once you get a taste of P1, I'm pretty sure it's hard to go back to regular jobs
