Who can stop Novak picking up his 3rd WTF title next Sunday?

Nadal is hopeless on indoor hardcourts, Federer seems to be only good for a set these days, Murray is off injured. Can anybody else seriously challenge him? I doubt it!

Maybe they should just hand him the trophy as soon as he sets foot in London?

    This will stop Novak:
    - unfavorable schedule
    - extremely difficult draw
    - exhaustion from playing deep in Bercy

He will lose to Fed and Delpo. And I am not playing Clarky and trying to jinx anyone.

Del Potro....maybe. But really its all on Fed. He is the ONE guy that can do it. Otherwise no one really.

Delpo and Federer most likely, Delpo likes this surface I think.

Wawrinka in the semi possibly has taken him close this year but we saw what happened this week. I don't see any of the others making a mark, Ferrer took a mental beat down today and Nadal never looks at home in the O2.

Yes, we now have a male/Nole Clarky. Awesome. Let the anti-jinxing war begin. To answer the question, it looks highly, highly unlikely anyone can stop him.

The dude is going to run the frickin' table from the USO on. Pretty darn impressive. Here's hoping that Nadal can get the points he needs to barely hold on to YE #1 cuz he ain't beating Nole indoors.

How about Ferrer, but he needs to reach the semis to meet Djoker.

I think Nadal may up it at WTF. He may have held back a bit at Paris.

if Ferrer doesn't have another monumental choke job, he can also be one of the ones capable of beating Nole

As much of a ridiculous fan boy I'll come off as if I say this. I hope you're right. I want Fed to get something done so he can have something positive to look towards for next year.

Actually Fed can beat Novak, there is no doubt about it! He came close in Bercy SF, but choked. I'm sure Fed must be very hungry to avenge his 2 back to back indoor losses to him.

Djokovic was vulnerable in the Paris final today, Ferrer served for both sets. He's playing amazingly, but all it takes is one person to step up and play their best. Nadal, Ferrer, Delpo and Wawrinka are all capable of taking him out.

I don't see any of them taking him out. Nadal is burned out, Fed only seems to have enough energy for a set and a half tops, Ferrer couldn't serve out either set today in Paris, Delpo will lose any stamina battle and Wawrinka will choke as he always does against Novak.

    Just can't see it happening!

Delpo is gonna be very dangerous in London. He must be a little peessed after that unfortunate Paris airport incident.

Nole isn't some sort of indoors beast and Nadal has a 2-2 indoors h2h with him.

Why is everyone trying to pull a clark? Nadal has done well indoors before and nole has a hard draw and he's just won bercy and will have only one day off. Not at all easy for him.

    Who ?

Not Federer, not Nadal. The only one i can think about is Del Potro but i'm not that convinced myself :)

    Djokovic to win most probably.

That is a good question. Fed and Delpo to start (the 2 best indoor players other than himself). Bad luck for Djoko to get both in his group (neither Wawa, Gasquet nor Berd would have a prayer ) but after that I would not dismiss Rafa's chances either. Djoko may have the better record at WTF but Rafa has beaten him twice there (Djoko only once). In conclusion, it will be very difficult for Djoko, just qualifying is not gonna be a given for him with such competition. Imo there are 4 major contenders for the title and 3 of those are in the same group.

Well, he was not playing in high revs in most of the matches. Most of the time, he paced himself just enough to marginally outplay the opponent, so I don't believe he is that much exhausted before the WTF. It was funny reading all those "tanking" conspiracy theories on this forum :)

Considering how difficult his draw is, we can expect much more agressive and focused play from Novak at the WTF.

    Federer maybe....

If Federer has two sets like the best set he played against Delpo at Basel and the first set he played against Djokovic (80% first serve in play!) - then he can beat him in the round robin match. I realise that the chances are less than 50/50 but far from impossible.

And really, even if Djokovic wins the WTF, if he loses just 1 round robin match....it will be a huge loss 0- because the loss of that 200 points is more or less destroyed his chances for YE number 1.

Look, Nole is going to most likely win the WTF. The guy is beasting. I thought maybe that tough, tough USO loss would throw him off his stride a bit, but he's showed a ton of heart to fight this YE thing to the bitter end. There is no way on God's green Earth that 2013 Fed is going to beat him. I'll eat my sock if he does.

However, Delpo might, could, 20% chance get him. Then Nadal would only need one match.

Get real, Towser. You know darn well that Cvac WILL win the WTF, and that he won't even lose a set in the process. Nobody is beating him there at all.

Nadal, OTOH, won't even win a match.

I think more rested opponents (even fi it´s only one day) can beat him.
Somehow he seemed very tired in his games against Federer and Ferrer.
Normally I have the belief that Djoker has maybe the best endurance but in Paris I didn´t see that.

And why would anyone have anything against eggs? I think Nadal likes to have eggs for breakfast.

You accused Tio Toni of "pulling strings, affecting draws and schedules..."

why would you say something like that? You're questioning the integrity of a huge global organization like the ATP and ITF.

    Good day!
