Who do you think currently has the best chance at being Rafael Nadal on a hard court surface? If you were able to pick someone you think can defeat him, who would you pick?

Best chance of being Rafael Nadal has to go to Rafael Nadal

Best chance of beating him - a fit Verdasco? A fit Murray? A confident Federer? A confident Djokovic?

Murray or Djokovic. They probably have the best chance on clay as well. Grass is the only surface I would say Fed has the best chance of beating Nadal.

Murray no chance on clay he doesn't move well on it and isn't comfortable at generating pace.

i think nalbandian because hes mental strong against nadal, his style also doesn't fit nadal. Federer would be one to, but nadal overpowers him mentally. oh i forgot something, of course murray, because he won the last three encounters. but i think the first 2 ( nalbandian/federer ) have more chances

Definitely Murray, or maybe even Gulbis, if he doesn't choke

He hasn't played on it in like a year. I'm pretty sure he is going to be much improved on it. I think the generating pace is a big part of why he has turned it around against Nadal. Wait and see.

id laugh if the reason fed was losing all these hardcourt matches to nadal was because hes been secretly practicing clay on his off time for the past year haha

That would be funny. And then come the clay season Fed just goes out a wipes out everyone taking the two masters nd RG. lol. That would be hilarious. He may have started after he got the drubbing at last years RG final lol........which is why he lost Wimbledon aswell. haha.

    Djokovic of course.
Healthy Murray would be the second choice.

Fed has no chance to beat Nadal any more on any surface

I think one player not mentioned is a fit and motivated Ferrer. He has done it in the past and could do it again.

    Murray

Djokovic is (In my opinion) still the best hardcourt player (at least he has the potential to be)

Not even on grass (where a few points determined their last match) or on a fast hard court like USO?

He's a troll, don't listen to him. He thinks Ivanovic and Djokovic are more well known than Kobe Bryant.

    LOL. Good one :)

Nam Ranger, no need to troll on this thread. There is a thread for you to talk about how Manning is more popular worldwide than Ronaldo.
