Best % of matches won/matches played

Best % of slams won/slams played

I'm not sure but Borg is probably very close to the top of the list.

probably borg, especially since since he retired so early, and played fewer slams.

My guess is Sampras, at Wimbledon. Or are you talking about all the slams?

Overall, I'd have to guess Borg. He won over two-thirds the slams he entered.

Im pretty sure its Borg, with the highest winning percentage on grass ever i think. Federer is catching up but Borg was special beucause he didnt play those little grass tournies like Halle or Queens.

Mine is indefinite because I didn't participate in any slam, so both numbers is 0, but 0/0 is undetermined number.

Yeah, I can't believe you never played a slam. I mean, you remember when you beat Sampras back in summer 98'? I was there and clearly saw your potential....its a shame you never entered a slam.

BTW, thanks for bringing in mathematics....I suddenly felt led to review differential equations for the hell of it....because I like it....because knowing DE's = $$$$

Great link, hops. I knew Borg's percentages were high, but I had no idea they were that high!

Doca, I think u overestimate my modest talents in tennis. Yes, I did win him as well as Fed in FRIENDY matches, but I never stated that those were official matches.

Everyone was bashing Tanner in another thread. He's #25 on the list. That's not bad considering he's ahead of Rafter, Stich and several other great Hall of Fame players.
