Yeah, I care for both as well... though I like Wimbledon a LOT better.. I'm kind of curious about Roland Garros.. Though I'm in my exam period at university I'll be at least monitoring the results closely.

Normally I don't like dirt ball, but I've got a good feeling about the French Open. Could be Nadal, Federer, Murry, Djokovic, Verdasco, maybe even Tsonga.
    Go Tsonga!

French is exciting because all grand slams are exciting, two weeks of great tennis!

But yeah, I'm much more excited about W.

French should be great and really got a lot more exciting with this last week, but I think Wimby is likely to be more exciting in terms of just who can win. There's a lot more players that I can see causing damage to the top 4 on grass than there are on clay.

Can't wait till FO. Lets see if Federer can keep up his pace and get a first win at FO. So far Fed has made it 3 times to the final!

I don't see Nadal backing down though...I see Nadal coming strong into the finals at FO also.

Huh? IF Federer was to win the French Open, I really couldn't see him lose at Wimbledon.

These are the best two Slams in tennis. Its the climax of the tennis season. Dont know how a tennis fan can wish for half of it to be done and over with.

I'm not that bothered about the French, I'm not really a big claycourt fan. I'd like to see a 5 set Nadal/Fed final at at RG but in truth, I care much more about the other slams.

I care about this particular FO because of recent developments in Madrid. Not just Federer beating an exhausted Nadal, but Djokovic coming within 3 mp to beat a well rested Nadal. Now its all fair and square once again. Every one of those top three has had lots of rest.

The other interesting thing is that there is no obvious #4.

Murray? Hardly. Del P? Probably not. Roddick? NO. Simon and Verdasco? Eh. Davydenko? I doubt that he is in any shape to play. Monfils? Have not heard from him recently.

So now we dig deeper. Just don't tell me Almagro will wake up or that Monaco/Gonzalez will come roaring through. Should be interesting.

^^^You mean a #4 for Nadal or Fed to smoke in the semis. Hopefully someone strong makes it there and puts up a fight, and not a cinderella. Though I usually like underdogs in the slams, I want to see someone give either Nadal, Fed, or even Djokovic a good, 4 or 5 setter along the way. It adds to the suspense. Another Nadal domination would be bad for the French, IMO. Nothing against Nadal, just someone needs to step up and challenge him eventually, whether Fed, Djokovic or someone else.

this comes from the roddick fan to the man who has fabrice santoro as his avatar...cause we all know fabrice santoro is winning everything.

Clay is boring but I don't wish anything to be as every slam is exciting to me.

This is the most interesting FO in a while in my opinion. Federer looks like he's got a new game plan, one he has never executed at the FO. Djokovic looks extremely solid and could potentially take Nadal out before Federer even sees him.

How anyone could disregard the FO this year is beyond me.

I like both, but I like Wimby more. I'm not so much of a fan of hugely long baseline rallies. It can bore me out sometimes.

The field is way more open at Wimbledon, it feels way more unpredictable and exciting.
