  2. Not sure this is a productive line of questioning.

I think Berdych is also up (down?) there among the least popular ones.

    Vive maybe right.

I remember it was said that players dont like Nadal in the locker rooms. They say he tries to intimidate them by jumping up and down and do aerobics. Also they say before the start of the match and for the warm up, Nadal keeps them waiting, that he takes longer to get up and start the match.

Nadal is certainly well liked by his countrymen. and besides Bjorkman, no one has ever said an unkind word about him.

Roddick and Stepanek looked like friends today after their final in Brisbane, though the intensity and antics of each has disgusted a few players.

I think the tours are lacking the bad guy who no one or most people don't like since Rios exited the scene.

Definitely Koellerer & Hewitt. Brydan Klein (sp?) wont get a lot of respect for his comments.

Maybe Stepanek because he steals everyones gf:)

Soderling used to be up there. I think that's quieted a bit in the past year or so.

    not really...

soderling used to be a real badass but I haven't seen any of this in the last couple months. though people don't change as fast as this, maybe he just hides it.

Maybe he never was a 'badass' at all, but just a bit socially inhibited?
Jeez, why do so many people seem to believe all that media-BS about possible 'player feuds'? If you like that, watch some old Connors-McEnroe vids.

In his hey day he was a big enough jerk to get Chela to spit at him. Granted what Chela did was wrong, but if you're annoying enough to get someone to spit at you, well....... pretty sure you're not exactly the most polite person in the world.

Soderling's one friend is Federer though and that makes up for it...

Surprisingly, I don't think this is actually true. She may be viewed as crazy and arrogant and a sore loser by the public (especially the TW public), and I'm not saying she's absolutely beloved by the players, but I've seen many players make reference to Serena as being pretty friendly.

Soderling may not win much but he doesn't say sorry & hug Federer after beating him or say how wonderfully nice Federer is. Look what happened when Nadal & Roddick did.
Blakefake & Agassidrugsleaze love the Federer Kool Aid too.
