The new Reebok apparel is up on TW. No mention of Roddick. Does this mean he is leaving Reebok? Where do you think he is going?

I voted other, but i think he's going to stay with reebok, even if there is no mention of Roddick in the new apparel. IF he doesn't stay with reebok he'll go to other brands than adidas and nike.

And Reebok sponsors more players then just Andy. I know that Igor Andreev also wore the Reebok Flex stuff and the other reebok clothing.

That's exactly why Roddick shouldn't go to Nike. Why would he, or anyone for that matter, want to dress exactly the same as everyone else on tour? It'll be like going to private school and having to wear stupid school uniforms.

There is no way Roddick will sign with the same company Federer plays for. Reebok let's him do whatever he wants, or gives him clothes that fit his persona.

In front of my computer, obviously
His Reebok contract expires around the end of March. I think Reebok will try to match whatever offers he gets from the other companies and he will end up staying with them. Don't think he'll sign with adidas and wear the same clothes as his friend Mardy.

I hope his persona is not exemplified by the US Open Camo gear

lol good one goober. I couldn't see A-Rod in Nike or Adidas, or a number of other brands; like Prince, Puma, ST or Lotto. I can see him in gear from Fila, Ellesse or Diadora, but I still think he's best with Reebok.

If he does leave Reebok, then they'll need to find someone else. They have a history of having a top male player, with Rafter and Roddick over recent years. Who do you think they might look for if they lost him?

Yeah, seems like Reebok has always had the #2 guy - from Chang to Rafter to Roddick. I guess fitting for the #2 sports apparel company behind Nike. Maybe they can get Hewitt or Safin if they lost Roddick.

Actually, I can see Roddick in Puma or even Lotto. Fila, Diadora, Ellesse, and Tacchini, I think are too Euro-fashionable for a big, brash, all-American, macho Texan like Roddick IMO.

dunno, but i would like him to stay with reebok. like many have posted, reebok gives him clothes that fit his personality and Andy is reebok's top guy. his clothes are original, not like the nike, adidas clones.

Nike used to make clothes for Agassi with personality until he lost most of it. Maybe they can start making some weird stuff again with flare if Roddick signs.

It might be a little too baggy in the rear for Andy.

That's a rumor from our board. not an official source. that requires a legit name or news story.

Nike already has two of the current top three players with them. I won't be surprised if they get Roddick. At least he won't be wearing any off shoes anymore.

I think Pro tennis should regress back to the Olympics thousands of years ago, when athletes competed in the nude!

Not all tennis. Just the women's. They need to do something else to earn the same amount as money as the men if they only play best-of-3 lol.

Agree with NikeTennis. Nike would have some awesome commercials with the world's number one and two. But I don't think they'd make special clothes just for Roddick. They already have Federer and practically every other big hype on the tour, why would they make one for Roddick? I still can't picture him in Breathe Free's lol.

If ... only if ... Roddick is going to leave Reebok. Nike will be the most probable choice. Nike will put up a show for those two going at it for no.1 spot, Fed and Rod. The natural born talent tennis player VS the powerful hardworking macho looking tennis player.

Just like what Nike Tennis2005 said above. It will be like the old days with Agassi, the flashy hardworking pirate never give up attitude tennis player versus Sampras, the talented typical looking textbook boring tennis player. Nike put up a good show when the 2 go against each other for the no.1 spot. Man!! I miss those good days, when u see Agassi and Sampras grind each other in grand slam final.

Shhh.... I really miss the old days where tennis outfit has character in them. like when Nike make tennis outfit for Agassi with boxer looking tennis shorts and checked shirts. It is ugly at first sight but later it was soo cool looking!!!
    as being unique ....

As for now is more like uniform .... Nike tennis team vs Adidas tennis team (the Reebok team tennis is no more, after Michael stitch retire).
... it look good at first, then later is getting boring. : ) Cheers!!!

Attending NBA games, eating junk food and drinking beer make Rodd a hardworker?
Federer is the hardworking, trash-talking macho one. It might be difficult to grasp the concept that Federer isn't the only natural talent in the world.
Not everyone is totally adored, not even Federer.

You're right, but it brings soo much more meaning to "New Balls Please."

Okay then, for support reasons, players can optionally wear support. Like Bras and Jock straps. This should apply heavily for Serena and Ivo Karlovic (respectively) :D
