Federer is +150 and Nadal is +145. Don't have odds for anyone else.

It's between Fed and Nadal, of course. I have Nadal on my fantasy tennis team, but my guess is Federer will win it. I would have picked Fed for the team but I'll save him for grass and hard court.

BTW, they're not showing the matches on ESPN. Just highlights on April 24th for an hour. All the matches will be shown on TC instead.

I think Clement has a chance against Nadal in the 1st round. He beat him earlier this year. Nadal hasn't played on clay all year. Arnaud should win at least a set..maybe two.

This is clay. Nadal won't lose more than 5 games in total.

Seriously, unless you have huge weapons that burn through the clay, how can you even win a point against Nadal? Unless he makes an unforced error or you get a lucky winner, I just can't imagine him losing a point. He'll run everything down and you'll break your shoulders trying to control your shots.

"in total"??!? I'll take that bet. Betcha he loses more than five games between his first match tomorrow and the finals, if he makes it that far. Shoot fire! Betcha he loses more than five games tomorrow against Clement.

Nadal is not 100% percent. He hasn't played on clay since last year's French Open. Defending champions haven't had much success in defending their Monte Carlo title. I love his game and watch all his matches but I really can't see him getting to the finals.

Fed hasn't played on clay since last year's French either. Nadal is very rested since he lost early in Miami. Who can beat Nadal before the finals? Clement? Murray? Vliegen? Coria? Gaudio? These guys aren't exactly worldbeaters. And Nadal handled Coria & Gaudio when they were playing much better around this time last year.

And Monte Carlo champs repeating isn't that rare-Ferrero '02-'03.

    Sky Sports viewers

Is anyone else keen to see the Federer/Allegro-Safin/Levinsky dubs match scheduled last on Centre Court tomorrow (Tues 18th)?
Day1 coverage on SkySports Extra has been excellent but they don't normally show doubles. If you're a subscriber and would like to send a request to Sky, here's the link: http://home.skysports.com/contactus/

(In other words, please help me to see the match...!)

Can't wait till he faces Safin in round 2. (Unless Safin loses in round1)

You have to wait a little longer...:(
I picked Federer, just because I want him to win. Still Nadal is the favorite, but I want an exciting Nadal vs Fed final with Federer pulling through. Just that he will have a win over Nadal on his fav surface as well.
The last 3 times I picked I was right, hope it continues. ;)

I know why Coria is back on the track after this 6-3; 6-1!!
Look at his outfit!!! That's his winning clay outfit !!!
Not that ugly spiderman suit. This is the confident winning Coria ;)

    Good for him :D

PS: Yeah, it's the same message I posted in the other thread, I know :p

Nadal loses 8 games to Clement. Rafa did not look that good but Arnaud looked worse. He had so many chances but blew them all.

P.S. Coria has made it to the final for the last 3 years. I think as long as he is healthy and confident...he is always in contention.

Yes he was :) Atp put one of last year's pics of Guille on their page. That t-shirt is still dreadful but guess better blue than orange...Orange on clay...you would only see a baseball cap, shorts, legs and the racquet :)

So far Monte Carlo has been a snoozer.I dont like clay at all, u really have to be a specialist and grind these matches with ur brain.I noticed alot of breaks on both sides.I thought Clement played well against Nadal, had his chances but couldnt capitalize. Some of these matches have been competitive but also very sloppy and ugly.

Thumbs Down to the Russian Men

Not one Russian past the 1st round. Tursunov, Andreev, Gabashvili, Davydenko, Korolev, Youzhny and Safin all fail to get to the 2nd round.

    lol
He can lose the first round in one tournament and win the next one and vice versa! He's done that before.
Challengers? You're kidding! He got to the semis in Valencia, why should he play challengers? Nothing to gain from it.
It's not like he's in slump and out of shape like AA was or as inexperienced as D. Young is.
I wouldn't be surprised if he wins another tournament and I'm not the only one.

Both favs, Nadal and Federer are cruising through the 2nd round.
    Ferrero is looking good, too.
With the performance of Coria today I don't see him in the semis, if it wasn't for PHM and his "beloved" choking he would have lost against anyone else...with 20 dfs

Ferrero vs Ferrer should be a good match. That Federer vs Ballaret could be tricky, i believe he is from monaco, so he will have a huge cheering section.

Federer (-5000) vs. Balleret (+3500). I think Bengie's luck runs out tomorrow. Good wins over Rochus & Grosjean....could have made some real good money.

Welll... I guess no Nalbandian at the finals.
He lost to Tommy Robredo 7-5; 1-6, 5-7.
He had a great chance to win at 5-5 40-15 on Tommy's serve, he managed to get a great return, and netted the easiest volley.

Well... tough luck. Entertaining match anyway :)
