Roger Federer's or Gustavo Kuerten's? Roger's been blasting away lately more than slicing short ones. I think they both have pwerful backhands, but I'm gonna lean toward Roger's power.

Guga usually hits with more spin, so Fed's is normally flatter and faster.

Guga is a clay courter so his backhand is aimed at high topspin. Notice guga's knee bend is much more than fed, thus giving him much more topspin too!.

Fed can get the high topspin but he's is flatter than guga's.

I think Guga's is better for down the line but otherwise Fed is better in all other categories especially the slice.

Didn't the last French Open fix the question?

The only question fixed is that Roger's still number 1 and Gustavo is not. Gustavo has a very respectable backhand, but Roger's is more versatile.

I think Guga would hit harder down the line when he flattens it out and really creams it.

both of them have great backhands, I like Guga's a bit more tho, it probably ain't faster but looks better and more spin and generally hits deeper

I totally agree; Guga definately hits with a lot of topspin while Federer his a much flatter backhand.

... I like the looks of Guga's more than Fed's...
