Why Are Racquet Manufacturers Allowed To Lie Re: What Racquets Their Players Use?

    It's still a lie at the end of the day and if we can't depend on large, multi-national companies for honesty then where can we turn???

    Because 99% of recreational players don't know and don't care about mold and layup. They care that they are using a racquet that looks just like the one their favorite pro uses.

    Why would you think from the outset that a large, multi-national would remotely be a beacon of honesty (or integrity?). That's setting the bar really low.

    Individuals are generally honest but the larger the grouping/organisation the further removed each person is from the coal face so there is less personal disincentive to act immorally or unethically.
