Some people claim that it is part of the obligation of being a top player. They have to give back to the fans...

Playing only in big tournaments? That would be a great egoism even if they are quite good.

No stress tennis and lots of $$$$$$$$$$$$$. Safin is playing an exo in Hong Kong at the beginning of 2010.

Pros play tennis for the money, and you can never have enough money.

And they have only a few years to earn enough money to potentially keep them for the rest of their life.

Hmmm I wonder how many of these guys really love playing tennis for a living.

They don't do it that often. It's probably refreshing to play at a somewhat less serious level and still get paid a crap load of cash for it.

It's no pressure tennis where you can get practice against your rivals in this case.

    and money.....

Agassi himself, one of the best players of our time, said he hates tennis. Although, deep down inside, no one hates money ;).

If they play in areas that don't have big-name ATP tournaments, it's to spread the gospel of tennis and get some cash while they're at it.

Fun and to promote the sport. These two are too wealthy at this stage to do exos simply for money. Obviously, their exos will generate a lot of money, so they should be paid, but I don't think this is the motivation. In any case, it's not as if they do a lot of exos.
