why do some pros have different stencils?

    why do some pros have extra stencils on their rackets, for example Djokovic in this picture:[​IMG]
    do they just think it looks better or does it signify anything else?

    One stencil is for the racket manufacturer and one, usually the bottom one is for the string manufacturer.

    Another example:
    Pete Sampras had the Wilson "W" and then towards the bottom he had the Babolat double black bars for the strings.

    yea that shows that he has a hybrid of wilson and technifibre strings

    Err...not necessarily wilson and technifibre. The W might just be for his racquet.

    no he uses full a full tecnifibre string setup

    It really doesn't tell you what he's USING. It tells you what he's ADVERTISING.
