Why don't they just leave the roof closed?

I don't get it, if they know that the week will be full of rainy days, can't they just leave the roof closed all the time so they don't have to keep opening and closing it and postponing all these matches? Makes no sense to me.

    Unless it's raining ;)

So you're telling me they needlessly delay matches on rainy days just so they can call it an "outdoor tournament?" That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. I'm not calling you ridiculous, I believe you, but that is ridiculous. If the days is gonna be sunny, leave the roof open. If it's gonna be rainy, close the damn roof so there aren't delays.
