I don't buy that Copy of federer thing. his strokes remind me much more of haas than federer. esp. his FH which is a double bend FH and not a straight arm FH like federer is very similar to haas and his BH also.

    Look at the similarity:

    dimitrov:

    haas:

Here is federer who looks quite different (FH especially)

People just say he looks like fed because he is a one hander (and they long for a new fed). but if one knows tennis he would see that dimitrov looks exactly like haas.

I don't really buy the hype. He is roughly ten years younger than Federer, and at this point in Federer's career he was ranked 19, Dimitrov is ranked 69. Having a game that looks like Federer is one thing, having Federer's game is quite another.

I would give dimitrov some time. he is good and his power needs to develope. of course roger was in the top10 at age 20, but today is another time. no
20U player is in the top 20.

dimitrov will become a very good player if he adds a couple of pounds of muscles.

Still he looks like a Haas clone:D. I can't believe anyone calls a guy with a double bend FH a federer clone. the straight arm FH is rogers signature shot.

on the other hand dimitrovs FH really looks like haas FH.

He's the only teenager in the top 100, so lets ease off a bit. If he accomplishes 10% of what Federer has, he'll have had quite a career.
He's got a nice game and is up and coming. Let's let things play out.
