Why is Nadal not able to finish opponents off quickly?

It seems to be like his matches always last a long time. Is it because he can't hit many winners? I noticed Federer hit twice as many as Nadal today. Why is that?

Nadal finishes points quickly against the weaker players tough to do against the likes of Federer and Djokovic.

Because Fed has a bigger serve and a more penatrating forehand.

But Fed had as many UEs as winners(25/25).

There's nothing better than watching Federer crush that forehand down Nadal's throat. That loopy crap gets annoying to watch.

I still find going for the winner more entertaining to watch. Points that end in a cheap error are boring. In this regard the US open is the surface that produces the best tennis seconded by Wimbledon.
