    He lost so that Fed's confidence would go up. He got it up for two reasons:

    1) To have some competition in RG.

    2) To utterly destroy Fed at RG Final.

    Simple as that, he told me himself.

    Dont believe me? go ask him yourself.:D

    I just did. He just told me his reasons:

    1) I realised Federer is the GOAT.
    2)I have decided to retire.

    Well i didnt see the match but i have to say i was very surprised, especially in two sets, come on, if Roddick can push him to a 3-setter...something very strange here, a bad day at the office maybe? fatigue? or Fed played the match of his life...
