Watching a senior match with my man Mats taking on Muster on the tennis channel....Great match BTW. Anyway..noticed Mats with what looked like a Cat 10. I believe this match was from late 2003...does anyone know if he is still using this stick?? I could swear i saw a recent pic of him using a v-engine of some sort.

Apothnyc I know what you're referring to as I've seen Wilander play a couple of senior matches live and he's got the funny kink in the lower hoop through the y of the throat. I'm pretty sure it isn't a Volkl as he's been using it a while, but just can't recall who makes the frame. He's still scary fit though - runs marathons for fun I gather...!

Wilander is listed on the Volkl international site as playing with the Cat 10. There is a new Cat 10 V-engine as well.

There you go! Anyone know if he was using it 3-4 years ago?

Interesting that a guy that won all his slams with one of the most flexible non-wood sticks in history (Rossi F200) would use a Catapult at this point in his life. Does anyone think that catapult "technology" gives the illusion of flexibility? I have an f200 (just to hang on the wall--hit with it once) and can't believe how you can see the frame bend as you hit the ball.
