I think it does make a difference, at least for the less experienced player. We all know the mental part of the game has a huge impact on the outcome of matches and in a final you're always under more pressure than in a semi final. Plus, I don't think I need to tell you that Federer's GS final record speaks for itself. All I was trying to say is that people are acting as if Murray had lost at least 10 times to Federer in a slam. Djokovic had never beaten Nadal in a slam either before 2011 (5-0) and then he won 3 in a row. None of them seems to get as much **** as Murray. Let alone that none of Murray's wins are ever legitimate anyway.
