5 years ago I predicted 20 for Fed and 14 for Nadal. Now it looks I was a bit wrong for Fed. But we will see.

I predicted he would end up with 19 slams a few years back, I believe when he won his 12th.

You may or may not be wrong. I am sure RFederer isn't done yet which is why he is still wanting to compete and who knows better than himself if he is done winning slam?

People who write off Fed fail to realise that his draw could just open up. He could reach the semis and then get hot for a couple of matches and pull out the big W. This is kinda what happened at Wimby 2012 and could happen again. Seriously he was a point away from getting knocked out by Benny but somehow hung in there and the rest is history.

Federer was in MUCH better form in 2012 than he has been this year though, I really can't see any way of him beating even ONE of the top 3 (or even Berdych, Del Potro, or Tsonga) at the US Open the way he's been playing lately. Hopefully his form picks up in Cincy.

You can bet he will be focusing on the slams, and foregoing smaller events.
