what do you guys think?
That's a tough one.....but given the women's game today, then yes!
Yes. 10 chars.
The top ten?? Of course.
This should be about whether she'll get back to #1.
She will so get back to no. 1
Look how she's playing in warsaw!
Pretty good, I watched her strokes and they were very penetrating. sooo powerful.
Her serve is so much more consistent too.
Definitely. No doubt.
Without a doubt, Yes....You know who is she, right? Maria Sharapova the princess of WTA .
Welcome back, Masha! we've missed you...
she has a big chance at wimbeldon to gain points ..
but with the FO , it might be difficult ,
'cause she reached the QF last season ,, i think !
Oh. If she doesn't get injured again she'll be back in the top 10 in no time. And at least another slam by the end of this year.
yeah she for sure will, but I'm not sure about top 10
C'mon she is way too talented to not be a top tenner, considering the state of women's tennis. Its all about injuries with her though, I hope she will be okay but I don't think she will ever go an extended period of time without getting injured. This ofcourse translates to the slams and further lowers her ranking! I definately think she can get in the top 5 however.
Do we know yet whether she will play FO?
I hope so but i doubt it,having seen her getting a beatdown by Bondarenko.
Russian Sharapova was pleased with her progress in Warsaw and told a news conference she would play in the French Open which starts on Sunday.
“This was a best preparation I could have,” the 22-year-old said. “I gave myself a chance to play in a tournament here and now I will go out and play again next week.
“I have no expectations for the French Open, this is not a time in my career to have expectations,” she added.
Did she change her form on the serve or forehand? I always felt she was muscling the ball with her shoulders
She probably will, but I don't think it will be until at least after Wimbledon and maybe not until the US Open. Clay is her worst surface and even though she is playing well in Warsaw I don't see her doing well at the French and Wimbledon will be highly dependant on what her draw has, but by the US Open if she plays well I think she could be, but I have little doubt she will be seeded for the US Open and probably in the top 20 by then at least.
When she eases back into playing, definitely. She's played well at Warsaw, despite her match with Alyona, but I reckon it'd take a while because clay is her worst surface. I, like boredone, think she'll be seeded by the US Open, enabling her to gain some mega points there.
yes she will plenty of room
Womens game is a joke i wouldn't be surprised if sharapova gets a slam this season
Yes, on her serve her take back is more direct (sorta Nadal like), and it's not as far back in the archer position. So in my view a lot less strain on the shoulder.
I hope they lowered the swing weight on her racquet as well, which should help with the wear and tear.
I think she could make it to #1 again. Think about how far Serena fell, and she made it back.
i see her in the top 5 by years end, but above #5 i need to see more time on court first
I think she will. She has the conditions to do it.
even tho she's a screaming cow
Phoenix and Maya have much better taste I'm sure
