    No... not another club thread.

I recently (while going through my uncle's basement) found an old graphite wilson racquet.

He played with it in the early 80's.... maybe late 70's.. he says (I wasn't aware that graphite racquets were available in the late 70's)....

From afar, I thought it was a pro-staff 85, looked very similar....

It has a leather grip (original) with an overgrip that resembles orange gauze, mainly black... has the words 'midsize' written on the frontal-throat area right above the grip.... on the beam of the throat it reads 'Graphite Matrix'... has no PWS.. a 16x19 pattern and weighs 370gr. (13oz).

On the buttcap it also has a 'taiwan' sticker along with a wilson code DKV.

Anyway... what I'd really like to know is if these were made before the PS85... I'm pretty sure it has no re-sale value.... but it's in great condition.

    Thanks... in advance ....Klem

As I had mentioned in my original post... I'm not concerned with identifying the type of wilson this is.... I just merely want to know if these were pre-PS85...

    Reading is our friend

Anyway searched the internet for a wilson 'time-line' of racquets and found nothing... that's why I posted.

Will try to post pics some time... but at the moment I'm on vacation.

Maybe an early Kramer Pro Staff that's faded a bit?
