Wilson Blade 98 BLX 18 X 20 Grommets

Hi All,

I have two Wilson Blade 98 BLXs (18 x 20) that are really torn up and am struggling to find much-needed replacement grommet and head guard kits online. This would be the 2011 series (black and gold paint job - this). I believe the part I need is WRG706100, which is widely unavailable. I'm curious if anyone can help me source equivalents to that part. I though maybe the grommets for the K-Factor Blade 98 might be a likely match, but just not confident enough to buy. I know these frames have non-parallel drilling (so the newer Blade grommets won't work since they are parallel drilled) but I'm just coming up stumped.

Can anyone share any guidance here? Love these frames and don't want to just keep hitting the **** market to buy frames when really I just need some extra grommet kits on hand for the frames I have to go the distance. Thanks!

WRG706100 sets will fit the Kblade 18x20 as well as the non parallel drilled BLX Blade 18x20. The side tabs ends may need to be trimmed. Those are really old frames and I would also repair any graphite scraps with super glue before putting new grommets in.

Thanks a lot for your response. Definitely will repair frame dings while changing them out, the only problem is that I can't source WRG706100 kits anywhere right now, so I was curious whether there was a known equivalent that might be available in the event I can't get that specific part number shipped. I've done this before with various Pro Staff frames successfully, but don't know with the Blade. Appreciate your quick response!

Just to add: I think the following might fit:

WRG706100 (BLX actual part)
WRG7980 (K-Blade part)

Maybe the N-Code part? Not sure if that was parallel drilled or not.

Ncode Blades are not parallel drilled. Not sure if spacing is same. You are going to have to use Google to search. Very unlikely that stores will have it in stock. Almost all are now carrying only the parallel drilled sets only.
