It was not lead, but steel and it was 20 grams. It looks that this racquet is quite depolarized.

    BTW handle foam was 25 grams ( #3 )

How do you put it back together?

It was broken racquet at the upper hoop, I didn't want put it together again, just research..

But if I would need to do it, I would try to modify some existing spare pallets ( Head, Volkl, etc..), to make them fit .. ( I already did it few times on other racquets)

Ah, so you just did a reverse engineering just to find out how the weight was distributed, right?

    Nice pics, thanks for sharing!

Interesting I guess, although I'm not entirely clear what you've done. Are you saying the original foam in the handle was 25g or that you've added 25g of foam together a with a 20g steel weight? Also I don't think the original racquet has a depolarized weight distribution.

Yeah, I originally thought there was foam there and you had dug it out and put steel in.

What ivo did was take apart a broken racquet and find out what and where the weight was located.

    Good job and thanks ivo

I was just interested, where lead is located in the handle originally ( added by manufacturer). So I shaved whole yellow original hard handle foam off ( it was 25g) and there were 20g steel weight.

    I did add nothing.

    @ SixOne / Ivo

Thanks for clarifying. That's interesting (and also surprising) how Wilson have weighted this racquet. I wonder if the BLXs are all like that as well?

I don't think that all BLX are weighted at top handle. But you can try it with magnet ( but I am not sure if they use steel now instead of lead in all their racquets)

I know for sure, Wilson Cobra Team has weight at top handle also.
