Recently demo'd and like the Wilson K Surge. In the search of purchasing a couple of new/used K surge racquets, it was brought to my attention that "knock-offs" are common in the market place (e.g. ****). Is this a valid concern? Also, is there a way to validate authenticity on a Wilson racquet?

    Thanks,

For the most part, the counterfeiters are more concerned with the high end, insanely popular racquets. For Wilson, that's the 6-1's. You should be more or less safe with the surge. However, this is not garanteed.

The only way to guarantee authenticity is to purchase via an authorized rep/dealer. Going overseas or on the auction site is not guaranteed in any way.
