    hello..

i have been reading like mad for all the topics of fake wilson 6.1's out there. some good and some bad threads.. .some with pictures and some with out..

i need help in the validation of my stick.

i have loaded some pictures.. of the new one below.

the question i have is the "Double Braid logo" is gone from this paint job.. is that correct? or is that a newer paint job from wilson?

anybody with a simular stick, please chime in and help the phamster out.

    thanks

just a thought, but judging from the part at top of the handle, it really looks like Federer's racket......any Federer fans here to confirm?......

my guess is it's real. ive recieved a fake n6.1 16x18 before, and it will usually have more discrepencies than just missing the double braid logo. usually a fake n6.1 wont have a wilson quality sticker.

and u're comparing a 18x20 to a 16x18. do u have another 18x20 on hand to see if that one has a double braid logo? maybe wilson just didnt put it on the 18x20 version.

it's fine and not a fake. wilson changed the paint scheme a couple times during the ncode production run. they did the same thing with the hyper pro staff version.

thanks to you all , i will play with it on sunday..

i have the option to return the racket but since most of you think it is real. i will hit with it.. and the truth be told when the ball comes off the forehand @@@@@ !!!

also it is weird that wilso would change up the paint scheme during the ncode years.. how weird is that? why mess up a good thing...

i am in manufacturing.. and i know once a process is set up and running good, why change things around?

This is a 95, which has the shorter pallet compared to the N6.1 Tour 90. Federer's version is the N6.1 Tour 90 with the shorter pallet and more exposed yoke. So this is an original N6.1 95... definitely not a fake. As for the Wilson sticker, the fakes have a different type of sticker, also hologram but the image in the hologram is different... several small Wilsons and not Wilson Quality as per the original.

The differences you note between the 16x18 and your new 18x20 are just like what I see on my three racquets (2 16's and 1 18x20). New racquet looks real to me. Now get out there and give it a go, and don't be surprised if it feels different than the 16x18 stick.

Oh yea.. Eric, the 5 foot 7 inch baseliner, all around game, right pocket ball killer, he plays # 4 on the team right now...

pretty smooth serve, almost like he doesn't jump into it, just so smooth..

nice 2 hand back hand too.. currently playing with babalot sticks..

i film the purdue players for a visual tool, he is mentally tough!!!

where did you get the racquet? did you get it from a certified dealer? or the big auction site where most fakes come from.....?

got it from a Certified Dealer on line.. LOL.. i know that doesn't sound right..

    but i guess i just didn't know wilson had different paint jobs from 16 X 18 pattern to a 18 X 20 pattern.

i have concluded that racket is for real, and i pulled on half of the sticker to make sure the sticker is the real deal too.. and it is ...

    so thread is closed..

i just replyed because some body asked if i knew Eric Ramos.. and i do..

i watch in amazement how fast this Eric Ramos is on court every time Purdue has a match.

    Hi phamster,

TW doesn't carry the nCode 95 anymore and I am looking to buy another one as a backup for the one I have. But most online dealers advertise only the 16X18 version, not the 18X20. Can you please let me know where you bought it and for how much? Since TW doesn't carry it, I don't think they would mind if you gave the store address here .

    Thanks.
