Do I need to pre-stretch Wilson NXT string? I strung a racket on my drop weight machine at 58lbs. It ended up somewhere around 48lbs LOL.

Normally my stringing is right on but I have never used this string before. Any help would be nice.

NXT is notorius for fast and significant tension loss. My recommendation is to prestretch to help reduce some of the drama. It will still lose tension, but you can reduce the severity by prestretching.

    Jerry or Creativered,
How do you pre-stretched string? I had the same problem with NRG2 18g. I strung it at 62# and 2 days its about 55# on my drop weight.

good question. I need to restring this racket using Wilson NXT Tour and I want to make sure that I am doing it right. Should I apply tension to the string twice or is there another method?
