wilson ps 6.0 OS????

    i got a reacquet to string today (i didn't string it cuz it was cracked). it has the paint of a PS 6.0 but its called the "largehead"

    is this just an oversive version of the 6.0???

  2. Yeah, in St. Vincent, Wilson made the Pro Staff in three headsizes: Midsize (85), Largehead (110), and another whose name escapes me, but it's a whopping 125. Needless to say, the 110 and 125 were soon discontinued. I think St. Vincent was the only factory that made the 110 and 125. Anyway, I'm sure it's easy to crack the 110 when you string it quite a few times within the stated recommended tension range of something like 70-75 lbs.

    it said 60-70lbs
    he wanted it at 70 and the frame was cracked so i told him he's signing if he wants it strung with a small crack at 3 at 70 lbs.

    Don't laugh, but the 125 plays pretty small and makes for a good hitting frame all-around. At virtually the same time ('85 product line), the POG 125 was introduced, but neither that frame nor the PS 125 made much of a ripple. The POG 125, by the way, plays "rounder" and larger than the Wilson, but their thin profiles and standard length make them more credible than you might think given their enormous headsizes.
