What is a string that is comparable/better than this string. I really liked this string but sadly my stringers do not carry it and I won't be able to order from TW because I am in summer camp.

If they don't carry Reaction, I'm not sure how much of a selection they do have; at least narrow it down for us, can you? How about what *brands* do they have on hand? Also, they surely have some strings they'd recommend, possibly even some they think might compare to Reaction--run those by us.

They have babolat, wilson and head strings. I am only going to be able to run in and drop my racquet off tommorrow so I was hoping for some guidance from here before I choose my string.

try the xcel premium first, followed by nxt, hmm with head strings... fxp isnt too shabby, and fibergel is very soft and cushiony.

They also have the VS gut. Would this be similar?

if you wanna try out natural gut, it wont be at all similar, and its going to run you 60-70 bucks strung.

Natural gut is said to play better but it is all based on what you prefer.

IMO less crisp, more powerful, more spin, more comfort.

With your model being Reaction, I'm recommending Babolat's Syntronic Brio, next Wilson's NXT OS (that's a version in itself). And if neither of these is available and to your liking, I'd even go with Wilson's Extreme Synthetic Gut.

What do you mean by less crisp?

It's a feel thing, so it's hard to describe accurately, I figure the best way to describe it is that the feel is less "sharp," but more cushioned...
