I didn't realise they were bringing out a spin effect version of this.

"After a series of crosscourt forehands I switched to the soon-to-be-released SixOne 95S. I felt like my strokes had good power—the Spin Effect is suppose increase pace on the shot as well—and plenty of tight spin. When I finished the radar averaged my shots at about 72 M.P.H., or 2100 RPMs, with almost three feet of net clearance. For a professional reference, when Rafael Nadal starts cranking his forehand he can top out well over 3000 RPMs."

That's going to be interesting, wonder if they will keep the rest if the specs and just change the drilling pattern

Good stuff. Wilson is stepping up their racquet game. Babolat is dropping a few new frames and a $400 IPad compatible racquet. Head is putting Graphene in the same old sticks. Prince has got their own spin racquets and updated classics coming out soon. I would love to see a comparison between the sales numbers for racquet manufacturers now & this time next year to see who's gaining more traction.

Yikes... I got more than enough spin already with my six.one 16x18. This stick rather needs a tad more control, as in a 16x19 pattern.

Well, this is an 18X16 pattern, so it just might give you more control in addition to the added spin.

disappointed in the 18x16. Seems like they gave up on the 16x15. They should have put 18x16 in larger frames like the 99s and 16x15 in smaller frames like the 95. That would seem more logical

    I'm not interested in any 18 x 16. I'll check out the new Princes instead with their 16 x 16 and even a 14 x 16

I see in your sig that you have a 99s - how's that working out?

Why? It's not a flat hitting setup, likely to be more spinny than the 16x18 6.1, and its unlikely that you'll need the super thick 4GS with this setup.

the fact that you're going from 100 to 95 is enough on the 16x15.

I love PS85's best, but I played my best tennis ever a week ago with my 99S. 8 aces in 1 set when I've probably only gotten 8 aces this whole summer previously. And I was pounding winners off the forehand.

So pretty well - IF I use full strokes.

I want as open pattern as possible. 18 mains in a 95 won't do it for me. For others, maybe.

It's not the number of mains that are key, it's the number of crosses and the drill pattern. I've played with a 18x10 6.1 and the spin is ridiculous. Not much control or ability to flatten the shot out but the trajectory of the ball is absurd. Don't dismiss it until you've tried 18x15, it will have greater access to spin that the 16x18 (which is not that spin orientated anyway)

I talked with the Wilson rep at length in Cincinnatti. Spin effect coming out on all the 2014 PS versions except the 90 I think he said.
