It has the red flashes of the Ultra II but looks like the precurser to the 6.1 95 line.

I can see it has a fairway leather grip. Any three letter code on the buttcap? Should be above or below the W.

I don't think it a was precursor to the PS Classic 6.1 line. The Ultra 2 was replaced by the Ultra FPK line of racquets. The PS Classic 6.1 95 came out in 1991.

You Ultra does use the PS Classic 6.1 95 mold and I tend to think it was a Europe release only after the release of the PS Classic 6.1 95.

sorry, but can i ask what is the meaning of the 3 letters above the W logo on the buttcaps? i noticed a very faint letters "XFU" on my pair of prostaff classics, it would be nice to know if these letters have any meaning.

    "X_ _" is a Taiwanese code, IIRC.

Meaghan, the frame you have uses the Ultra FPK 95 mold, but with cosmetics inspired by the original Ultra 2. This could be a Euro-only release. Wilson came up with various Ultra models for the European market, which were never sold in the States. I have seen the model you have in French stores around 1994-95.
    What's the grip size?

Yeah, definitely not US market. Have no idea how measures up to Ultra 2 line or PS Classic line.

These are relatively common on European e-bay!

Oh well, it looks like nobody has heard of this Ultra racquet, so guess it must be extremely rare and worth $100's, lucky me:shock:
