A fist pump and a glare across the net from Federer. Great tie-break from him, and he's managing Andy's serve just fine.

I woke up at 5.45, and there's no way I was gonna go back to sleep - I play tennis at 9am normally on weekends so this is perfect!

Fed barely squeezes through these sets.. I think roddick is out playing fed but fed getting the important points.

Fasten your seatbelts folks the game is starting NOW. Did you notice see Fed's attitude change? Now he is ON, took the lead 2-1 and shouting the classic COME ON.

Yes he is SV'ing but not winning too many of those. He got down 0-40 because of losing the 2 pts when Andy pased him.

But its making Andy think a little bit and Fed is becoming more aggressive.

And as I write this, another break pt due to a SV :(

You were right Justyn, Fed just raised his game and now leads 4-3.

It was gonna happen sooner or later.

    I'm loving this match.

    What a great one.

I think Fed will win, but boy, has Andy's game improved over the past year.

He has more work to do, but he'll win Wimbledon one of these years.

Its 5-3 4th set. Federer is closing in for the kill. He seems to be closing in on Roddick.

All Fed has to do is serve it out now. I'm wondering if he will SV in this last game.

this was a well fought match. Andy deserves a lot of credit for making Federer battle. And in the end, Fed raised his game and came through.

If you look at no's, Fed beat Roddick in every category (aces, break pt conversion, pts won, winners, ue's) except winning %age on 1st serve (which is due to Andy's huge serve).

    A very well played match.

    Awesome match.

I hate to compare Fed to Sampras but the way he saves himself from being broken is boggling.

It was a little bit of luck that Roddick didn't convert THAT many break opportunities, especially one of the points he missed the line by 2 inches.

The fourth set easily could've gone to Roddick.

Either way, this was SUCH an awesome match.
