In searching for match statistics, I came across records across all surfaces. Thought some might find it interesting. Apologies if someone has already posted this data. You can run the data for any time period if anyone wants to see a different period. I can't vouch for the accuracy of the site. Cheers.

Federer's record is 752-174... and he's behind Nadal for overall win %. not sure where you got your info.

Nadal is 478/102 (prior to the AO 11)

Um Bud, are you sure that's not during 2003? When he started winning all those slams?

Lol! Ah, the OP is trying to make it look favorable to Federer.

To the OP:

Let's do real numbers not slanted numbers.

From here:

I'm sure if you run the stats going farther back, you'll get more totals...no need to get upset about it.

I ran it the way I did b/c as you go farther back, certain players of interest started dropping off the list.

I thought it was interesting b/c it shows totals across all surfaces.

Yeah, that was what I was thinking. I thought it was unusual that he picked 2003 to start with.

Why not do a historical total as far back as it goes?

Why start at 2003? lol

It appears your attempting to present slanted information to make a certain player's record look better than it is

I told you why I ran it the way I did. Go there yourself and run it any way you like....knock yourself out.

In your spasmodic typing frenzy, did you notice that I stated as follows in the original post:

"You can run the data for any time period if anyone wants to see a different period. I can't vouch for the accuracy of the site. Cheers."

What's the point? Who cares about surface win/loss records starting from 2003?

Is this info significant is some way?

Well you can use the site to find out other time periods if you want.

That could surely be potentially interesting, to see who was winning most in certain years.

I also said in my original post that some might find it interesting. Obviously, you don't find it interesting. Go somewhere else.

Thanks OP.

Haters gonna hate... just ignore them. I was thinking maybe you can put the win percentage next to the win/loss stats.

Thanks. I may get to that next. I really wish there was a comprehensive stats site out there. I would love to see how the win loss percentages by surface run across the last 30-40 years. I will post more as I have the time.

Nadals clay record and Federers grass record are both absolutely ridiculous...

I know. I would love to see how they stack up Sampras, Borg, Mac, Lendl, Connors, etc. The site only retrieves data back to 1990 and I don't think the data from the 90's is complete. It seems like the stats from the last decade are pretty complete.

When you look at it this way, it really gives some texture to how the different players perform across the board.

Nadal is 203-16 on clay in his career, 202-15 since the start of 2003.

He's quite amazing on clay. Wish we could see Borg, Vilas, and all of the clay court specialists from the past decades. Even though I don't like comparin eras, it would still be interesting to see.

Why get your panties in a bunch? Don't be so sensitive because the OP didn't post stats your way. Feel free to start another thread and post stats the way you like. The OP posted stats from 2003 on, which are accurate/unslanted as per the thread title.

Go post "XXXX - present" if it suits your fancy.
