Hey guys, how is this string? TW currently has it for around $15 a mini-reel for 3 sets, and at around $5 a set it looks good for a multifilament, but I have never played with it before, how is it?

It is a decent multi string. At $5, I'd say it is a good buy.

I found it to be a very soft string but it breaks quickly if you play with topspin. I still have one friend who hits with decent pace but not a lot of spin who swears by it. They last him about about 6 - 8 weeks before they break.

I agree though that it's a good buy at $5.00.

I played with it for about 6 months a few years ago when I was suffering wrist pain. It worked very well for what I needed at the time. It's a good multi string but not a great one. For that price, get a few sets and see for yourself.

I am currently recommending Prince Premier Attack 16 as a go-to multi. Great string, imho.

These strings play really well for about 10 hours of hitting for me, and then lose a lot of tension and snap at about 14 hours. They feel great when freshly strung if you like softer strings.

I've used the 17g for years. A softer string with good playability and decent durability although I am not a big string breaker - lasts me 15 hours. Just a good all around string that is not notable in any one area.

Sensation is a good, soft, powerful multi that is popular among non-stringbreakers.
It also makes a good cross.
At it's reg price of $10/set, I'd keep shopping.
As it is, I bought 6 mini reels myself.
