Kind sir, there's been a lot of retro gears popping out from specialty stores the last 5 years or so especially from the Dassler brothers (Adidas and Puma).

Who among current WTA girls is much hotter and sweeter than Maria K (maybe lots of comparables but none hotter and sweeter)?

Sentinel, I have several Adidas sweats that are from before the Kirilenko ad, and they all have the new logo. I think the ad (and concept) was about promoting a retro line.

Amusingly, I recently came across a forgotten tennis bag of Fila gear from the early 1990s. Wearing those short shorts on a court was the tennis equivalent of wearing a Speedo on a beach. These shorts would have been too short for Anna Kournikova.

I never liked Kournikova, but she rocked the Adidas short shorts...

Thank you for those pictures, Mike. Very nice.

Yes, the old Adidas logo is still used in new gear, like Superstar jackets for example. And I also think the new logo sucks.

San Fran broad's way to get high...Southern Comfort and heroin. Sadly, Pearl leaned on the horse a little too heavy one night in '70 and we all lost the female voice of rock way too early (and, selfishly, about six weeks before I would have seen her live and from very close; had to settle for Tina instead).

Justin Gimelstob, generally speaking, likes to count his old French francs while drinking from a still in his bed when in San Francisco. It is a strange habit of his...

My quadrupeds: cold-nosed, sloppy-kissing sources of unconditional love

My circle of bipeds: cold-blooded sloppy-mannered sources of unconditional contempt for the welfare of others.

Once again, Senti the Sage of TT is 100% correct (except for his spelling, according to autocorrect.

Wow, thanks for correcting me. I had no idea there was a "u" in there. I know of quadruple and quadruplicate and quadruplets, come to think of it, but how come its quadraphonic and quadraplegic ? Does the "a" or "u" depend on the second word ?

^ That's nothing -- i keep getting creeped out by "weird". It certainly doesn't follow that "i after e except after c" rule. Isn't that wierd, i mean weird.

But i seem to be okay with reign, feign, neighbour and weight but often get tricked by foreign, fiend ...

quadro is really four and quadra is quarter in a nutshell; /four/fourths to be exact as in quattro/quarta (w/o delving deeper...).:)

Better to be "wired" than "weird"...at least you have a fighting chance of getting back to "normal" the next day.

It is well known that Kim Jong-il handed a humbled Roger Federer two golden sets in their only match, but can Kim Jong-un do the same to Rafa? Federer dreams about Kim Jong-un's backhand...
