Home, at a home tournament you have the local support, but also the local pressure to represent the city, the state and then the country.

Youzhny's backhand technique is not something many coaches would teach.

Hot just begins to describe Enrique's main squeeze. I'll add the adjective sultry.

Yevgeny Kafelnikov's dad bought Maria her first racquet; this was at a time when Yuri didn't have much money and a racquet for Maria might have been out of reach.

Yay, it's always great to see the GOAT play, even against Dzumhur.

Rafa, earlier in this year, briefly switched to a racquet that was too spinny.

Yips is a term often applied to golfers though maybe it could be applied to a certain tennis player on grass with receding hair?

Rasheeding is a term I coined to describe the current career slide of the Bulgarian boytoy.

Yes, hats off to him. Last season of Jarrko's career. But there is always Rafa (also finnish ;) ) to take over.

Yelling at chair umpires like a dilettante John McEnroe may be St. Nicky's preferred contrived theater, but Dmitry Tursunov made a real impression during a post-match Wimbledon handshake when he tried to pull the umpire from his chair.
