workout routine for tennis days

    I am looking for a workout for the days i play tennis. I play tennis about everyday and have tried to workout with tennis but it hasnt worked out. I am really wanting to get stronger for tennis but dont want to take playing tennis away. Anyone got any light programs that wouldnt make your body that sore yet make you stronger.

    Regardless of what you do, you're going to be moderately sore in the beginning, especially if you're new to lifting. I'd recommend starting off with an moderate total body workout consisting of more compound movements like squats, bench, dips, pull ups, deadlifts and core/abs. As you acclimate to the weights, the soreness should go away. Just make sure you get some rest...
