Worst match seen live:

Rogers Cup 2010, Andy Murray V. Gael Monfils

Easily the worst match I saw this year and quite possibly the worst I've ever seen at Rogers Cup. Not only was it hot as hell that day, the match consisted of legit pushing, errors and tantrums from both guys. Monfils played terrible the first set, couldn't hit a single ball or a winner to save his life, gets broken easily, at least his antics were amusing though. Murray decides to play awful the second set and gets destroyed by Monfils who wasn't doing anything special. I couldn't believe the appalling crappy-ness of the match so I left the last few games and got a hot dog instead. The final score? 6-2,0-6,6-3

Nadal vs. Almagro at the 2009 US Open was painful to watch. Almagro brings out the worst in Nadal's game, even though Nadal finds a way to win everytime.

I was in attendance for this match as well. Definitely the least memorable match that day...I don't know about the worst match I've ever seen live though.

Nalbandian/Soderling and Llodra/Federer were the other centre court matches that day and they made up for it in my mind.

Yeah I was at that Murray Monfils match and it was a joke. I think most terrible matches involve clownfils. Like his match with Djokovic at the US open this year. Also his match with Simon at the Australian in 09.

Umm.. any lower-ranked WTA matches I've seen live at Indian Wells over the years. Choking, pushing just about sums it up.
