It adds a nicer PJ and a little stiffness.

The Innegra seems to absorb more shock, making the IG models feel better to me than last years.

I don't remember looking under the buttcap of my old Speeds, but my IG Speed has foam inside the handle. That may account for the more dampened feel. Maybe that's the magic of Innegra?!

the new innegra celluloid fibre bundles injected throughout the matrix add a whole new level of feel that eludes comparison to the youtek line which stiffened upon impact to provide more control. that being said, the stiffening cycle of the youtek technology was found to be short lived and many players found they lost the very control youtek was created to provide.

the innegra line was rebuilt from the ground up from scratch and inspired by the need to eliminate all the deficiencies and anomalies in the old structure. lab tests showed a 600% increase in stability and dampening great that it was clear that a 360 degree paradigm shift was in line. the next step was obvious to us all.

novak was contracted to test the new inngera matrix on an f-15 to confirm it was the real deal. the results were shocking to us all; with innegra matching the natural resonant frequency of the ball, every shot is loaded with so much feel and just the right amount of power and control needed for a winning shot.

would agree 100% didn't like the speeds and went with a rad mp until the IG's came out. It doesn't play nearly as stiff as it's RA rating. Great stick imo. I went with the 16X19 (315).

I've only demo'd them, but last year I hated the speed for the feel. This year when I demo'd the new speed MP 16x19 I really liked it. It really does have a better feel.

Demo it. Though the consensus opinion on these boards is that the IG is better, if you like the original Speed it might feel different enough that you don't like the new one as much.
