How do think she would do? She has the power, why does no one on the WTA tour use alot of spin consistently like Nadal?

There are players on the WTA that use a lot of spin.. Schiavone and Schnyder come to mind.

The fact is however, they can create the spin, but they lack the power to hit really hard like the men do, so being a woman hitting with spin, you put yourself more in a defensive position, unless you are really talented like Schnyder and can outplay those hardhitters in a tactical way. However, Schnyder, when she faces powerplayers like the Williams, gets outhit too.

Kuznetsova also come to mind (hybrid), she also plays very back something like Nadal, But her shots doesn't have much sting, and tends to make a lot of errors.Venus on the other hand, I can't imagine playing with a lot of topspin.

    Because his forehand is unique!
not many on the ATP use that much spin either...only a handful

and Henin would definately use a lot of topspin on her forehand

yesh henin uses top spin like that but she tons of energy to generate the power to go along with the spin. She just like really high every time she trys to hit a winner of her forehand. Her forehand also changed alot over the years. shes more consistent and she uses the federer flicking wrist in her forehand before it used to be more of agassi's foreahand.

Mauresmo plays with a LOT of topspin for a woman. But she sacrifices power as a result of it, the mph on her groundstrokes are on average considerably less than that of your Sharpovas and Williamses.

I don't care much for top spin. I do use it, but hardly as an attacking shot. When I do use it, I don't impart much spin. I'll try using more of it, though, in the upcoming season.

Which is what she needs. She should focus on keeping her errors down to a certain point. Think to herself if I am going to lose the other girl will have to beat me, since I am keeping my errors down to this point.
