Would like some opinion on these strings (Before ordering)

    The strings I plan on purchasing are as followed:
    Alpha Gut 2000 16
    Gosen Bio Gut Power 16
    Gosen OG-Sheep Micro 17
    Gosen Super Tec AK Speed 16
    Gosen Tec Bio 16
    Toalson Leoina 77
    Wilson Synthetic Extreme 16
    Ektelon Powerplay 16
    Prince Original Synthetic Gut 16
    Kirschbaum Competition 17

    These are all good strings for the price, good values if you will. There's a bit of overlap in your list. You have 4 basic solid core syn guts, for instance.

    So would you suggest taking out a few of the basic syn. gut?

    There's nothing wrong with experimenting with different strings :), but they are similar in the way they play is all.

    Ok, thanks for the input. However, what would you suggest to swap the basic syn. guts with. I would greatly appreciate your input on that.

    I would substitute one of the Laserfibre multifilament strings for either Powerplay or Prince Orig Syn Gut(they are very similar). Laser Supreme is a very poplular multi because it holds it's tension better than most multis and it has a firmer feel.

    Sounds like you are going to be doing some experimentation. Thats the best way to find out what works best for you.

    I plan on buying my own stringing machine and doing the same. I don't like waiting 2 days for the club to string, plus they don't really have a good variety.

    I vote for you try either the perfection or Perfection control. They are kind of dead feeling but you might enjoy the control.
