Depends on their level... some kids can't even tell the difference.

A junior? What age? Too young and all Lux - no way. Big Banger will big bang your kids arm.

Made the switch for 15 yr. old

Our son was breaking his Dunlop Explosive strings about every seven playing days. His coach recommended we switch to Luxilon, both for better control and durability. He's currently trying the ALU Power in both the Smooth and the Rough. His coach has been trying to get him to flatten out his strokes a little and our son feels as though he can hit just as hard and still keep the ball in.

I guess its also important to say that though he's a junior, he's 15 and 6'4", about 170 lbs. He hits and serves pretty big. Don't know if we'd have paid the premium a few years back when his game wasn't as big and we'd go a month between stringings.
