Wouldn't it be hilarious if New England lost to Miami??

I'm just wondering, wouldn't that be the greatest thing in the world if the winless dolphins beat, probably the BEST TEAM EVER, in the New England Patriots next week? That probably has to be a top 10 upset of all time, especially when taking into account the point spread over the game.

    I'm telling ya man. 15-1, 1-15. It's gonna happen. ;)

Miami is known for doing this kind of crap BTW. They upset the last championship New England team, when the Pats finished 14-2. And they prevented the 1985 Bears, arguably the greatest defensive team in the history of football, from going undefeated.

A lot of buzz about Miami and Baltimore. Baltimore's lost 7 in a row, and they look like a team ready to clean out the lockers. Whereas you figure Miami desperately doesn't want to have a "perfect" season. This game will be interesting in a very bad way. :D

Right now, Miami is the "Notre Dame" of the NFL. Meaning, they suck 2 girls and 1 cup of crap, but they're be extremely desperate to avoid total infamy. I'm just saying, if they go 0-15, that last game is going to be awesome. :D

What is this "2 girls and 1 cup" business you speak of, tricky?

Mark my words. Patriots will lose to Miami. And btw, Safin will win AO '08.

It would be somewhat poetic if the Dolphins beat the Pats; earlier this season you had Don Shula calling for the asterisk because of the Pats cheating; you knew from that point Belichick wanted to just bury everyone in his path, especially the memory of the 1972 Dolphins by making sure they went undefeated and the Phins went 0-16. I think Shula needs to give the team a pregame pep talk.

These guys are pros and they get paid to do this..

I am sure Miami has a chance. If Miami plays the best game of the year, and the NE plays the worst...I think the game will be close. And right..Miami has always done something to spoil the record.

You never know with the VEGAS too..
    Smell some fixing? :???:

Miami won't win...not a chance. But there is a sliver of a chance of NE losing to the Giants who are, I believe, the only remaining team on the Pats' schedule with a winning record (as of today).

yeah, i will take a few of those bets too. i am really surprised at how many people really seem to think that miami is going to win. i guess if the spread is huge it might be worth throwing 20 bones on miami... but i doubt it...

Nobody bets straight up. I might bet Miami to cover the point spread which I am sure is going to be pretty large.

I predict that now Miami, building on their confidence from their 1 game winning streak against a weak Ravens team in overtime is going to ride this momentum into New England thumping the Pats. Any takers?

Well let's look at this mathematically.

    Pats d. Ravens by 3.
    Fins d. Ravens by 6.

Therefore Fins d. Pats by 3, 100% proven.
