How do you guys put on tourna grip. This is retarded!

Do you guys cut the ends before you start it?

What I do is cut a taper at both the beginning and the end. The trailing edge is about 2.5 inches long. I also attach a small piece of double sided tape at the beginning so that it makes it easier to stretch it at the butt end to prevent creases.

That's a pretty cool idea. Because I always get a crease or two not that I can feel them at all.

I posted some step by step pictures not too long ago, but I can't seem to locate the thread. If I find it, I will post it here.

Okay, I found the pics, here goes:

STEP 1: With attached Double-sided tape, I can pull just using one hand.

STEP 2: Stretch tightly at the beginning to prevent creases.

STEP 3: Also cut a trailing edge at the end for neater finish.

    Nice illustration, jonolau.

Maybe I should have you flown in to Houston to rewrap all of our grips.

Bring your racquet and we'll play a few sets. ;)

Hi Al, I would very much look forward to hitting a few sets. But I see that you've been pretty busy with your silent partner of late ... ;)

Yeah, but it's got too much game for me. I wear down, it keeps shooting balls across the net.

Of course, you've probably got too much game for me, too, but at least we can discuss it man to man. :)

No worries, Al, I've got old legs, so just place the ball right and you've got me cornered! ;)
