Wrapping a replacement grip?

    Do you overlap a replacement grip like you do a overgrip or make it smooth?

    There's usually a noticeable thin part on the grip's edges that you use as an overlap guide.

    Thanks for replies. Do you have to staple the beginning of the grip?

    No. Replacement grips usually have adhesive backing. Overgrips are thin and adhere to themselves fairly well.
